Texas Licensed Senior Staff Attorney

Job Summary

Litigating cases throughout Houston and surrounding counties, the full-time Texas Licensed Senior Staff Attorney will manage complex and high-exposure litigation, including construction site accidents and commercial automobile accidents, in a 100% remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex litigation and independently develop defense strategies for clients
• Prepare pleadings, written discovery, and motions, and present witnesses at trials and hearings
• Conduct legal research and provide timely legal advice to clients and claims customers

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and a license to practice in Texas state and federal courts
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in civil tort matters
• Documented first or second chair jury trial/appellate experience preferred
• Knowledge of Harris County and surrounding areas with available transportation
• Member in good standing of the applicable Bar Association
