Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Senior Staff Attorney for a full-time remote position, this role involves litigating complex cases in construction site accidents, premises liability, products liability, and commercial automobile accidents while independently managing cases from inception through trial.

Key responsibilities:
  • Handle complex and high exposure litigation, developing and presenting defense strategies independently
  • Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs without supervision
  • Research, draft, file, and argue appellate briefs on behalf of clients in reviewing courts
Required qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas state and local federal courts
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in civil tort matters with documented first or second chair jury trial/appellate experience preferred
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, along with excellent organizational abilities
  • Knowledge of Harris County and surrounding areas with available transportation
  • Member in good standing of the applicable Bar Association
