Texas Licensed Senior Title Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Title Examiner with extensive title examination experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough searches of public records and complete examinations to assess property title status
• Review documents affecting property title, including mortgages, deeds, and probate records
• Assemble Title Commitments for issuance of Final Title Policies and mentor junior examiners

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of title examination experience, including 1-2 years in Texas
• Experience with Residential Lot/Block examination; Acreage experience preferred
• Proficient in Title Data (TIMS), Deed Plotter, and County Government websites
• Strong research skills and understanding of legal terms and real property legislation
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn software applications
