Texas Licensed Senior Transmission Engineer

Job Summary

Offering flexible work arrangements, the Texas Licensed Senior Transmission Engineer will provide technical leadership in the planning, design, and delivery of high voltage overhead transmission line projects while working remotely or from various locations across the South-Central region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering for transmission projects up to 765kV, ensuring effective project planning and communication
• Support Project Managers with project scope, schedule, budget development, and client relationship management
• Contribute to departmental support through resource forecasting, recruitment efforts, and business improvement methodologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related discipline
• 10+ years of relevant experience in the electrical transmission industry
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with multi-state preferred
• Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adherence to company policies
