Job Summary
Managing a litigation-heavy caseload, the fully remote Texas Licensed Senior Trial Attorney will independently handle first-party property matters, including homeowner and weather-related claims, while providing strategic legal guidance and advocating in court.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from inception through resolution, including case strategy, discovery, and trial
- Represent insureds in first-party property matters and related liability exposures
- Prepare and argue legal pleadings and conduct depositions, mediations, and trials
Required Qualifications
- Active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- Juris Doctor degree required
- 4+ years of litigation experience with a focus on managing cases independently
- Prior experience with first-party property claims strongly preferred
- Successful candidates will obtain Northern and/or Eastern District of Texas federal licensure as soon as practical
