A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Counsel for Texas and New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities

• Make underwriting risk decisions regarding title insurance commitments and policies
• Research and analyze federal and state statutes, regulations, and legal publications
• Develop and present educational materials for employees and agents

Required Qualifications

• J.D. Degree from an accredited college or university
• Seven to ten years of experience in title insurance or the real estate industry in Texas
• Bar License required
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and internet research
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
