Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Investigation Unit Investigator Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team to detect, investigate, remediate, and report incidents of fraud, waste, and abuse in healthcare services
  • Oversee all aspects of fraud, waste, and abuse within CHIP, Medicaid, and Commercial segments
  • Work a hybrid schedule of 3 days in office and 2 days remote, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; certification as an Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator or Certified Fraud Examiner required or eligible within the first year
  • 5 years of experience in conducting healthcare insurance investigations and interacting with law enforcement agencies
  • 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in Healthcare Special Investigations Unit
  • Experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations and understanding of the healthcare industry is preferred
