Texas Licensed SLED Engineer

Job Summary

To support SLED customers, the full-time Texas Licensed SLED Engineer will leverage technical and sales skills to develop solutions, deliver technical presentations, and act as a customer advocate in pre-sales efforts while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers technical proposals and presentations tailored for the SLED audience
• Analyzes customer business and technology objectives, conducting technical discovery and architecting client solutions
• Participates in pre-sales efforts, including technical presentations, architecture design discussions, and solution demonstrations

Required qualifications

• Technical pre-sales and/or consulting experience in SLED
• Technical knowledge across one or more Lumen technology pillars (e.g., global network infrastructure, edge cloud capabilities)
• Fundamental understanding of cloud and architecture design (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Industry certifications in specialized technologies are a plus
• B.S. Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the private sector or military
