Job Summary
To support the instructional program for the 2026/2027 school year, a part-time Texas Licensed Social Studies Teacher will manage online instructional sessions, provide personalized feedback on assignments, and communicate regularly with students to ensure successful completion of their courses in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions to support student learning
- Provide timely, high-quality feedback on assignments and maintain up-to-date student performance records
- Collaborate with team members to develop lesson modifications and enrichment activities for diverse learners
Required qualifications
- Valid state teaching certificate in Social Studies for Texas, Michigan, and Pennsylvania
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a traditional teacher preparation program
- Ability to work full-time hours from 10 am to 4 pm Eastern time
- Experience with IEP/504 plans and their implementation in a virtual setting
- Strong technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Apps
