Job Summary

To deliver exceptional virtual education to secondary school students, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed Social Studies Teacher will develop engaging curriculum, foster an inclusive online learning environment, and provide timely feedback while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to align with state standards and diverse learning needs
• Foster a positive online learning environment and implement effective student engagement strategies
• Design, administer, and assess student assignments, providing constructive feedback to guide academic progress

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements in Social Studies or related training for certification waivers
• Minimum of two years of successful teaching experience, preferably in a secondary setting
• Experience using the Google Workspace suite in a professional or academic setting
• Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with specified minimum speeds
