Job Summary
Overseeing the coding, testing, and debugging of software applications, the contract Software Developer 3 will work remotely for 12 months, focusing on system requirements, project proposals, and application performance improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the coding, testing, and debugging of programs while preparing necessary documentation and test data
- Analyze and evaluate computer applications, including database schemas, SQL code, and system performance
- Coordinate and track the work of programming staff, developing standards and procedures for software development
Required qualifications
- 15 years of experience with JAVA
- 10 years of experience with SQL databases
- 8 years of experience in sustaining and developing large applications in a team environment
- 5 years of experience with Linux
- Preferred experience with the Atlassian tool suite, especially JIRA, and Agile methodology
