Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Sped Teacher and 504 Case Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with campus administration to conduct child find efforts and manage special education records
• Schedule and conduct ARD meetings to develop and implement individualized education plans for students with disabilities
• Ensure compliance with state assessments and provide support to general education teachers regarding special education accommodations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Special Education
• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education; alternative certification eligibility letter required if applicable
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state special education laws and the ARD Committee process
• Experience with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
