Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Specialty Therapist, OT, PT, SLP.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed review of therapy service requests based on evidence-based practice and organizational policies
• Refer members to case management based on service request assessment and provide clinical recommendations for adverse therapy determinations
• Support specialty therapy providers with clinical training and guidance on therapy authorization and provision

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree in a specialty therapy area
• 3+ years of experience providing therapy services in healthcare or home health settings
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Therapy
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for Speech-Language Therapists
• Preferred 6+ years of experience providing therapy services in healthcare or home health settings
