Texas Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage vendor setup and maintenance, including invoice processing and inquiry resolution
• Monitor accounts payable inboxes and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in accounts payable or general ledger functions
• Experience with transaction processing, reconciliations, and month-end close support
• Familiarity with tax compliance filings (use tax, property tax, 1099 reporting)
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems/ERP platforms
