Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Staff Attorney or Senior Staff Attorney for a full-time remote position focused on litigating complex insurance defense cases, including construction site accidents and commercial automobile accidents, while independently managing cases from inception through trial.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle complex and high exposure litigation, developing and presenting defense strategies
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs, and communicate effectively with clients and the court
- Independently prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials and appellate hearings
Required qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and a Texas license to practice
- Minimum of 3 years of civil tort matters experience for Staff Attorney; 5+ years for Senior Staff Attorney
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Member in good standing of the applicable Bar Association
- Demonstrated expertise in handling claim cases and litigation
