Texas Licensed Staff Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Counsel to manage moderately complex civil litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage all phases of litigation, including legal research, drafting documents, and leading negotiations
• Support senior counsel in trial preparation and case handling throughout the litigation process
• Develop and implement advanced legal strategies and utilize technology to enhance workflow efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in Texas and in good standing
• Minimum of 5 years of trial attorney experience, preferably in insurance law
• Proven experience in managing moderately complex litigation with favorable outcomes
• General knowledge of insurance law and related regulations
