Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer (Remote Work Opportunity).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for large capacity, field erected storage tanks and analyze/design steel plate and reinforced concrete structures
• Interpret geotechnical reports to select and design complex foundations while applying customer specifications and design standards
• Oversee detailing work, prepare & seal calculations and drawings, and perform post-design services for troubleshooting

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer license, or ability to become licensed
• Minimum of five years of experience in a design engineer role for similar structures
• Practical knowledge of the construction of storage tank projects and working knowledge of relevant codes & standards
• Design-Build project experience is preferred
