Texas Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

To solve complex challenges in structural engineering, a Texas Licensed Structural Engineer will work remotely on a contract basis, utilizing their PE license and over 4 years of industrial steel/concrete design experience with STAAD Pro to execute advanced structural designs and calculations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive structural system calculations using hand methods, Mathcad, spreadsheets, and STAAD Pro 3D modeling analysis
• Execute advanced structural design for diverse industrial steel and concrete building projects while ensuring compliance with building codes
• Collaborate with structural designers to provide detailed input for high-quality contract drawings and maintain effective communication with team members and clients

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• PE license required
• 4+ years of experience in industrial steel and concrete design
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro and structural modeling
• Experience with Mathcad and spreadsheets for calculations
