Texas Licensed Substation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an EPC Substation Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform design and engineering calculations for utility substation projects
• Prepare project deliverables including engineered drawings and technical reports
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and assist senior engineers with studies

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university
• 2+ years of relevant experience in utility substation design with a B.S. degree or 1+ years with an M.S. degree
• Familiarity with electric infrastructure and substation engineering principles
• Experience with engineering software such as SKM, ASPEN, or ETAP
• Experience with Engineering, Procurement & Construction turnkey projects for electric utilities is preferred
