Texas Licensed Substation Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Substation Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform design and engineering calculations for utility substation projects
- Prepare project deliverables, including drawings and technical reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams and assist with quality control reviews
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited university
- 2+ years of relevant experience in utility substation design with a B.S. degree, or 1+ years with an M.S. degree
- Familiarity with electric infrastructure and substation engineering principles
- Experience with engineering software such as SKM, ASPEN, ETAP, or CDEGS
- Experience with Engineering, Procurement & Construction projects for electric utilities is preferred
