Job Summary

To support a remote healthcare team, the temporary Multi-specialty Surgery Coder will utilize 3+ years of coding experience to accurately code surgeries in various specialties including GI, OB-GYN, Urology, and Neuro, with flexible hours available.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately code multi-specialty surgeries based on established guidelines
• Utilize EPIC software to manage and document coding processes
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coding accuracy and compliance

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-specialty surgery coding experience
• Coding experience in GI, OB-GYN, Urology, and/or Neuro
• Strong understanding of EPIC software
• AHIMA or AAPC certification (or another relevant certificate)
