Texas Licensed System Administrator
Job Summary
To support operational needs, the part-time Texas Licensed System Administrator will manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, perform system patching and vulnerability management, and provide IT customer support, working in a hybrid remote setting within the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, 7, 8, and 9 operating systems
- Perform firmware patching and manage ongoing firmware updates
- Support antivirus management and conduct vulnerability management activities
Required qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, 7, 8, and 9
- Experience in firmware patching and vulnerability management
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery processes
- Proficiency in scripting or automating system administration tasks
- Must reside within the Fort Worth/Dallas, TX area
