Job Summary
Supporting the Army program in Killeen, TX, the full-time Systems Requirements & Modeling Engineer will apply model-based systems engineering processes and tools to develop requirements, designs, and reports for Integrated Air and Missile Defense Operational Tests, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes both in-office and remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and apply model-based systems engineering processes and tools to create and analyze engineering models of requirements and designs
- Coordinate with program management to prioritize work in alignment with programmatic and technical objectives
- Elicit requirements from customers and develop system requirements and designs, planning for verification and validation of developed resources
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (engineering, science, computer science/engineering or related)
- 4+ years of experience in systems engineering, including defining operational concepts and system architectures
- Experience with MS Project for identifying project tasks and developing schedules
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
