Texas Licensed Technical Product Lead

Job Summary

To support the CAPPS Program, the remote Texas Licensed Technical Product Lead will manage advanced consultative services, define product strategies, and ensure alignment with Texas state goals while overseeing technical implementations and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the long-term product strategy and technical roadmaps in alignment with business objectives
• Partner with Managed Services vendors to shape architecture, evaluate trade-offs, and ensure high-quality implementation
• Maintain standards for security, compliance, and accessibility while overseeing technical reviews and contract management oversight

Required qualifications

• 12 years of extensive Texas public sector experience supporting a Texas state government agency
• 12 years of experience performing technical activities in support of CPA application systems
• 12 years of experience creating and managing a strategic roadmap with strong planning and communication skills
• 10 years of experience in IT security and control practices
• Technical experience with PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM 9.2, SQL, and Oracle 11 or higher
