Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Texas Licensed Telephonic Case Manager will collaborate with healthcare providers and employers to develop and implement treatment plans for injured or disabled individuals, ensuring effective healthcare services and facilitating their return to work.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of cases by assessing recovery progress and modifying treatment goals as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and employers to create tailored treatment plans and modify job duties for early return to work
- Conduct interviews with patients to evaluate their recovery and determine the nature of their injuries
Required qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field
- 2+ years of clinical practice experience, preferably in workers' compensation or occupational health
- URAC-recognized certification in case management (e.g., CCM, CDMS) preferred
- Reliable internet access for remote work
