Texas Licensed Title Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Title Examiner with Texas experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough searches of public records and examine property titles in accordance with regulatory standards
• Review documents affecting property titles and prepare Title Commitments for final policies
• Mentor junior examiners on title issues and communicate with various stakeholders in the title process

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of Texas title examination experience
• Strong understanding of title examination processes and relevant documentation
• Experience with Residential Lot/Block examination; Acreage experience preferred
• Proficient in Title Data (TIMS) software and related tools
• Good research skills and familiarity with legal terms and developments affecting real property
