Texas Licensed Traffic Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Texas Licensed Traffic Engineer, the full-time remote position will develop transportation models and analyze data to support infrastructure projects while collaborating with civil teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Create traffic and transportation models for various projects, including corridor and safety studies
• Analyze transportation data and assist with technical analyses and feasibility studies
• Perform calibration and validation of models, ensuring accuracy and reformulation as necessary

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation, urban planning, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant modeling experience
• Proficiency in traffic forecasting and analysis software, including Dynus-T, TransCAD, and Vissim
• Experience working with large data sets and traffic modeling tools
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with Microsoft Office applications
