Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Licensed Traffic Engineer, the full-time remote position will develop transportation models and analyze data to support infrastructure projects while collaborating with civil teams and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Create traffic and transportation models for various projects, including corridor and safety studies
- Analyze transportation data and assist with technical analyses and feasibility studies
- Perform calibration and validation of models, ensuring accuracy and reformulation as necessary
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, transportation, urban planning, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant modeling experience
- Proficiency in traffic forecasting and analysis software, including Dynus-T, TransCAD, and Vissim
- Experience working with large data sets and traffic modeling tools
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with Microsoft Office applications
