Job Summary
To support the expansion of Texas's energy infrastructure, the full-time Texas Licensed Transmission Control Leader will manage transmission control center operations, ensuring compliance with NERC and ERCOT standards while working in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop capital control center transmission operations and budget
- Create operations strategies aligned with ERCOT and NERC reliability standards
- Plan and implement contingency plans, emergency responses, and system outages for the bulk electric system
Required qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering
- 10 years of experience in transmission operations, SCADA/EMS operations, or control center operations
- At least 5 years of management experience in transmission control center operations
- Familiarity with Open Systems International (OSI) or GE Reliance SCADA/EMS
- Understanding of NERC and ERCOT reliability standards and policies
