Job Summary
To support the Military OneSource contact center, the full-time Texas Licensed Triage Consultant will assess participant needs, determine eligibility for services, and facilitate referrals to appropriate resources while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide participant intake, needs assessment, and referral services in accordance with established triage protocols
- Conduct consultative interactions to determine eligibility and facilitate warm hand-offs to internal and external service providers
- Document participant interactions and ensure continuity of service by minimizing delays and repetition of information
Required qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health related field such as social work, psychology, marriage/family therapy, or counseling
- Knowledge and understanding of military life and the unique needs of service members and their families
- Ability to pass a DoD Tier II suitability investigation within 30 days of hire
- Familiarity with contact center operations, including call handling and documentation
