Texas Licensed Triage Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Triage Specialist to perform effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones and return voicemails to handle inquiries and transfer calls as needed
• Relay pathology results, schedule appointments, and document conversations in EMA
• Prioritize skin cancers and explain Mohs procedures to patients

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• CCMA/RMA Certification preferred
• Experience with patient scheduling and understanding of surgical procedures
• Knowledge of common pathology diagnoses and stat emergent situations
