Texas Licensed Trial Attorney

Job Summary

Representing commercial insureds of a leading global insurance carrier, the full-time salaried Texas Licensed Trial Attorney will manage moderate to high-exposure General Liability cases from investigation through trial, with the option to work onsite in Addison, TX, or remotely from Austin, San Antonio, or Houston.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all phases of insurance defense litigation, including legal analysis, pleadings, discovery, hearings, trials, and settlement strategy
• Manage caseloads and budgets while conducting exposure analysis and post-trial activities
• Mentor junior attorneys and uphold the highest ethical standards in legal practice

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor and 7 or more years of litigation experience
• Active member of the Texas State Bar in good standing
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, Lexis, or Westlaw
• Knowledge of insurance defense litigation and claims
• First-chair jury trial experience preferred
