Job Summary

As a Texas Licensed Trial Attorney, the full-time remote Early Career Trial Attorney will manage insurance defense litigation, including property damage lawsuits, while providing counsel to business clients and coordinating with legal teams in McAllen, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients
  • Gather and organize documents, evidence, and conduct legal research for cases, preparing for hearings and trials
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, interview clients and witnesses, and maintain communication records
Required Qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar
  • Successful completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis
  • Must obtain Southern District of Texas federal licensure as soon as practical
  • Capable of organizing case files and understanding the discovery process
  • Must be within a commutable distance to courthouses throughout the greater McAllen, Texas area
