Job Summary
Championing the defense for the company, the full-time Texas Licensed Trial Attorney will manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including trials, depositions, and mediations, while working remotely from McAllen, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Manage insurance defense litigation from case inception to verdict, ensuring favorable client outcomes
- Gather and organize legal documents, evidence, and research for hearings, trials, and mediations
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and discovery responses
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- Ability to obtain Southern District of Texas federal licensure
- Completion of courses focused on legal research, writing, and analysis
- Strong organizational skills for managing case files and legal documents
- Willingness to commute to courthouses in the greater McAllen, Texas area
