Job Summary
Providing exceptional service to policyholders and agents, the full-time Texas Licensed Underwriting Representative will manage high volumes of inbound calls, assist with underwriting inquiries, and maintain accurate records in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage inbound calls from policyholders and agents, addressing inquiries related to underwriting processes and policies
- Educate customers and agent partners on policy details, coverage options, and premium calculations
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with underwriting guidelines
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center within the insurance industry
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and regulations is a plus
- Florida 4-40/2-20 Property and Casualty General Lines License is a plus
