Texas Licensed Utilization Review RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PRN Utilization Review RN Acute Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical certification reviews for medical necessity in an acute care setting
• Collaborate with the access management team to provide clinical information for authorization
• Educate care team members on appropriate access to various levels of care and promote evidence-based protocols

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active unrestricted RN license in Texas
• Five years of experience, including two years of clinical experience and three years of recent utilization review experience
• Prior experience with Epic CCM
• Active unrestricted RN license in the State of Texas
• Acute care experience preferred
