Texas Licensed Utilization Review RN

Job Summary

A company is looking for a PRN Utilization Review RN with acute care experience for Monday to Friday day shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct medical certification reviews for medical necessity in acute care settings
• Collaborate with the access management team to provide clinical information for authorization
• Educate care team members on appropriate access and use of various levels of care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active unrestricted RN license in Texas
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, including 2 years of clinical experience and 3 years in utilization review
• Prior experience with Epic CCM
• Active unrestricted RN license in the State of Texas
• Acute care experience preferred
