Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner III.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 150-180 complex workers' compensation claims from inception to conclusion
• Conduct timely investigations and determine the compensability of claims, administering benefits as per state law
• Communicate with claimants, providers, and vendors regarding claims issues and maintain accurate documentation of case status

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Five or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology
• Texas Workers Compensation License
• Proficient in Word and Excel (preferred)
