Job Summary
Managing accounts receivable for Workers' Compensation claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Specialist will perform billing, claim corrections, and collections while working remotely to ensure timely reimbursement and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Perform medical billing, collections, and account reconciliations for Workers' Compensation claims
- Follow up on returned claims and denials, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim reviews and appeals to maximize reimbursements
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in Workers' Compensation Billing and AR collections
- 1 year of experience in medical appeals and denials
- Knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processes
- Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology
