Job Summary
Managing accounts receivable for workers' compensation claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Specialist will handle billing, claim corrections, and collections while working remotely throughout Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Perform medical billing, collections, and account reconciliation for workers' compensation claims
- Follow up on returned claims, denials, and correspondence to ensure timely reimbursement
- Review and appeal claims with insurance carriers according to established guidelines
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in Workers' Compensation billing and accounts receivable collections
- 1 year of experience with medical appeals and denials
- Knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processes
- Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology
