Job Summary

Managing accounts receivable for workers' compensation claims, the full-time Texas Licensed Workers' Compensation Specialist will handle billing, claim corrections, and collections while working remotely throughout Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform medical billing, collections, and account reconciliation for workers' compensation claims
• Follow up on returned claims, denials, and correspondence to ensure timely reimbursement
• Review and appeal claims with insurance carriers according to established guidelines

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in Workers' Compensation billing and accounts receivable collections
• 1 year of experience with medical appeals and denials
• Knowledge of insurance verification and eligibility processes
• Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology
