Texas Notary Certification Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a Texas Notary Certification Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage the pre-completion of certifications for medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations while working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Utilize the MedRelease platform to assist in the certification process for various records
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and PHI handling practices to maintain the integrity of patient records
- Apply mathematical skills to analyze and explain medical billing records to requesters
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to become a Notary Public in Texas within the first 6 months of employment
- Intermediate to advanced math skills for understanding medical billing records
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience in hospital or medical billing is a plus but not required
