Job Summary
To support the management of medical malpractice and liability cases, the full-time remote Texas or Colorado Licensed Legal Counsel will coordinate with external counsel, assist in legal research, and provide practical legal advice to various departments.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate between outside counsel and internal employees for litigation matters
- Assist in preparing and reviewing discovery responses and legal documents
- Provide legal advice and participate in risk management processes
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree with strong academic credentials and 5 years of relevant legal experience
- Admitted and in good standing to practice law in Texas or Colorado
- Significant experience in medical malpractice and general liability litigation
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
