Job Summary

To support a patient-centered care model, the full-time Texas Patient Services Specialist will serve as the initial contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling and providing information on prescriptions and clinic protocols, all while working remotely in Central Texas.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by scheduling, confirming, and managing patient appointments using a multiline phone and the EPIC Electronic Practice Management system
  • Interview new patients to gather demographic and insurance information, ensuring proper matching with clinics and primary care providers
  • Resolve patient inquiries regarding benefits, billing, and specialty clinic procedures while maintaining confidentiality and a positive patient experience
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical or call-center setting
  • Knowledge of appointment scheduling and insurance verification procedures
  • Experience with the EPIC EPM/EMR Systems and standard Microsoft Office tools
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
