Texas Payroll Processor

Job Summary

To support key business operations, the remote, contract-to-hire Texas Payroll Processor will manage payroll activities for a multi-state workforce, ensuring accurate employee compensation and compliance while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Administer payroll activities for a large employee population across multiple pay groups, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Review payroll records and timekeeping data to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity
• Coordinate payroll adjustments involving earnings, taxes, and other compensation items while supporting leave administration efforts

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing full cycle payroll processing in a multi-state environment
• Working knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, and employee deductions
• Intermediate proficiency with spreadsheet applications, including lookup formulas and data validation
• Experience using payroll platforms or human capital management systems; familiarity with payroll administration software is preferred
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
