Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager

Job Summary

To support electric service and wholesale transmission rate strategy, the full-time salaried Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager will lead the rate-making process, perform revenue modeling, and advocate for new rate programs in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the rate-making process by conducting regular cost-of-service studies
• Performs quarterly retail sales forecasts and revenue modeling of wholesale power and transmission costs
• Advises senior management on recommendations for addressing changes to market rules or new opportunities

Required qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing electric utility rates
• 3+ years of project coordination or leadership experience in rate change projects
• Experience with regulatory bodies such as ERCOT and PUCT
• Knowledge of wholesale power purchase design and/or PPAs
• Degree in Finance, Business, Regulatory Policy, Energy, or related fields
