Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing Transmission & Distribution Company, the full-time Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager will lead the rate-making process, perform cost-of-service studies, and collaborate with finance and regulatory bodies in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the rate-making process by conducting regular cost-of-service studies
• Performs quarterly retail sales forecasts and revenue modeling for wholesale power and transmission costs
• Advocates for the approval of new rate programs to senior management and regulatory bodies

Required qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in electric utility rate design and management
• 3+ years of project coordination or leadership experience in rate change projects
• Experience with regulatory bodies such as ERCOT and PUCT
• Proficiency in performing cost of service studies and rate analysis
• Degree in Finance, Business, Regulatory Policy, Energy, or related fields
