Job Summary
To support electric service and wholesale transmission rate strategy, the full-time Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager will lead the rate-making process, perform cost-of-service studies, and advocate for new rate programs in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the rate-making process by performing regular cost-of-service studies
- Performs quarterly retail sales forecasts and revenue modeling of wholesale power and transmission costs
- Advocates for the approval of new rate programs to the Executive Team and Board of Directors
Required qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience related to the design, implementation, and/or management of electric utility rates
- 3+ years of project coordination or leadership of rate change projects
- Experience dealing with regulatory bodies such as ERCOT and PUCT
- Experience performing cost of service studies for electric transmission and distribution services
- Degree in Finance, Business, Regulatory Policy, Energy, or related fields
