Job Summary
To support electric service and wholesale transmission rate strategy, the full-time Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager will lead the rate-making process, perform cost-of-service studies, and advocate for new rate programs in a hybrid work environment based in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the rate-making process through regular cost-of-service studies and quarterly retail sales forecasts
- Evaluates cost and revenue expectations of new rates while advocating for their approval to senior management
- Stays updated on Texas legislation and regulatory activities, advising management on market rule changes and new opportunities
Required qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing electric utility rates
- 3+ years of project coordination or leadership in rate change projects
- Experience with regulatory bodies like ERCOT and PUCT is highly preferred
- Proficiency in performing cost of service studies and rate analysis
- Degree in Finance, Business, Regulatory Policy, Energy, or related fields
