Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager

Job Summary

To support electric service and wholesale transmission rate strategy, the full-time Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager will lead the rate-making process, perform cost-of-service studies, and advocate for new rate programs in a hybrid work environment based in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the rate-making process through regular cost-of-service studies and quarterly retail sales forecasts
• Evaluates cost and revenue expectations of new rates while advocating for their approval to senior management
• Stays updated on Texas legislation and regulatory activities, advising management on market rule changes and new opportunities

Required qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing electric utility rates
• 3+ years of project coordination or leadership in rate change projects
• Experience with regulatory bodies like ERCOT and PUCT is highly preferred
• Proficiency in performing cost of service studies and rate analysis
• Degree in Finance, Business, Regulatory Policy, Energy, or related fields
