Job Summary
To support a growing Transmission & Distribution Company, the full-time Texas Regulatory Case Rate Manager will lead the rate-making process, perform cost-of-service studies, and advocate for new rate programs while working in a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days remote each week.
Key responsibilities
- Leads the rate-making process by conducting regular cost-of-service studies
- Performs quarterly retail sales forecasts and revenue modeling for wholesale power and transmission costs
- Advocates for the approval of new rate programs to the Executive Team and Board of Directors
Required qualifications
- 5-10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing electric utility rates
- 3+ years of project coordination or leadership experience in rate change projects
- Experience with regulatory bodies like ERCOT and the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT)
- Proficiency in performing cost of service studies for electric transmission and distribution services
- Degree in Finance, Business, Regulatory Policy, Energy, or related fields
