Job Summary
To support the CAPPS Program, the remote contract Texas Security Analyst will manage role-based access control, design segregation of duties rules, and oversee security compliance for CAPPS applications while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and enforce role-based access control and least privilege models within CAPPS and connected systems
- Monitor and analyze authentication and authorization logs for suspicious behavior, coordinating findings with the CPA Information Security Office
- Provide Level 2 Service Desk support, including ticket handling for complex issues and collaborating with a Managed Services vendor for Level 3 duties
Required qualifications
- 10 years of extensive Texas public sector experience, directly working for or supporting a Texas state government agency
- 10 years of experience in IT security and control practices
- 10 years of technical experience with PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM 9.2, including SQL and Oracle 11 or higher
- 10 years of experience performing technical project management activities in support of CPA's CAPPS program
- 5 years of experience serving in a security analyst role overseeing a Managed Services provider
