Texas Senior CAPPS Functional Lead

Job Summary

To provide high-level functional support and advanced reporting for the state's CAPPS HR and Payroll modules, the fully remote Senior CAPPS Time & Labor Functional Lead will independently translate complex business requirements, manage system configurations, and guide over 100 state agencies through upgrades and legislative changes over a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced consultative services and functional assistance related to the CAPPS Program
• Manage functional CAPPS HR/Payroll Time and Labor module expertise, including configuration, testing, and user support
• Implement and support Fluid timesheet functionality, overseeing project planning, system configuration, and ongoing maintenance

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of extensive knowledge of State of Texas applicable policies
• 15+ years of experience performing system configuration changes
• 10+ years of extensive experience supporting the CAPPS Time and Labor module in PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2
• 10+ years of experience providing Tier 2 Service Desk Support for a large network of agencies
• 3+ years of knowledge of ITIL principles and practices for IT activities
